YOUTH ON MISSIONS TRIP FOR 2012: SOUTH AFRICA
DATES: June 11-22, 2012
- Street Ministry
- Youth Rally
- Encourage Churches
- City-Wide Youth Crusade – National Youth Day of So. Africa
- Visit Kruger National Park (Yes… see lions and elephants, etc)
- Target Cities: Durban, Johannesburg
- Bonus: Spending one day touring London with youth from the church there on our way to South Africa!
We are asking everyone to PRAY for our trip! Ask God to lead us, guide us and use us greatly for His Kingdom and Glory.
YOM 2012 – South Africa – Kicking off the promo officially at Holiday Youth Convention in Ocala, Florida.
THE TRIP DETAILS:
1. Dates – June 11-22
2. Location - South Africa. Johannesburg & Durban.
3. We also get to spend a whole day TOURING LONDON, ENGLAND!
4. Cost – $3,250.00 Not including food (But some food included) – Due by April 20th.
5. Deposit – $450.00 Due by February 10. (If approved, the deposit is required to hold your spot!)
6. African Game Reserve: Krueger National Park – We will be 3 days at a Guest House inside Kruger park, (zebras and warthogs are right outside your window)
7. 2 full-day Safaris where you will try to see Lions, Elephants, Giraffes, Rhinos and Hippos… etc… Will be amazing!!!
8. Ministry: We will be in 5 different services – 2 in Johannesburg and 3 in Durban. On Sunday morning we will be going in 3 different teams to 3 different churches. Sunday night will be a big Youth Convention. That Sunday is a special South Africa National Youth Day!
9. We will be going to Lion Park – where you get to Play with Baby Lion Cubs!!!
10. We also will be eating at the world famous: Carnivore Restaurant – where you can sample (eat) many of the wild game of Africa!
We have packed so much into this trip – It will be absolutely incredible!
If you do not have a passport, get you passport application prepared and sent off by February. For those under 18, the passport is good for 5 years, over 18 the passports are good for 10 years.
