Hong Kong update – YOM 2010
Jun 21
Dear Parents, family, friends and intercessors of YOM Team 2010…
It’s been a great Monday! We had a great relaxing day at Ocean Park. Then ended up at The Peak, overlooking the beautiful Hong Kong Harbor.
I was setting up my camera and downloading the images so I could post some pictures on the web for you all to see… and somehow… ended up deleting all my pictures off the camera chip!!! Have no idea how-trying every way possible to find them… so… You’ll have to please forgive me, and you are not as sick as I am about it… even lost all Markie’s Graduation Pictures I had on the same chip!
I have other kids trying to get me some links where I can send you and see them.
Tomorrow, we leave early for Macau, it’s another country here near China, to spend the day.
Keep us in prayers – Everyone is safe and healthy and having an absolute blast! They’re all asking already about next year’s trip!
I want to thank all our leaders for such an incredible job: The Volans, Bro. Nate Wells, Bro. Joel & Sis. Shiloh Andrus, Bro. Marcus Elzey, Sis. Dea Shertzer… etc. Also, thanks so much to Bro. and Sis. O’Donnell and the pastors here for such a great job at helping with all the details of coordination.
God bless you all for sending these great kids!

It’s Monday morning in Hong Kong – while you all are still enjoying Father’s Day, Sunday night!
Most YOMers called in to their dads… but if they didn’t – they still have this morning to call!
The sun is coming up over the Hong Kong Harbor, what a view from our window!
Getting great reports from our POCC Missions team in Brazil – 259 kids were filled with the Holy Ghost at the Children’s Crusade in Manacaparu – on the Amazon River! Revival is happening all over the world!!!
I was able to watch our services back home online, live, while getting ready this morning… Just too cool…!
These YOM kids are the best!!! What a team! THANK YOU PASTORS AND PARENTS for sending us your VERY BEST!!!
ACTIVITIES FOR TODAY:
Going to have a day off!!! We’ve been in services every day since we arrived!!! We’re leaving at 9:30 – (That’s 9:30 pm for East Coast time) headed to OCEAN PARK:

For dinner, we’re coming back to go to THE PEAK – We skipped it last Saturday due to so many people and long lines.

Not had a chance to load pics… I know you’re wanting to see your kids!
Keep us in prayer for a fun and relaxing day!
Sunday is over – it’s early Monday morning.
Jesus has blessed all 3 service with his power and anointing!
We thank God for about 13 betting baptized today – many receiving the HG. We are dead tired back in our rooms – trying to blog with eyes shutting down on me.
We’ll try to upload more pics soon!
Thanks moms & dads for sending them.
Keep us in prayer for the remainder of the trip…
God bless,
M.H.
Hong Kng – YOM 2010

Good Sunday Morning (Saturday evening to you all). It’s Father’s Day! Happy Father’s day, especially to all the fathers who today your son or daughter is with us here in Hong Kong on this great missions trip!
This is such a great team of missionaries! Totally dedicated and consecrated to this mission!
Yesterday (Saturday) we had 2 services, simultaneously in the same building. One was for the Philippine congregation, and the other for the Chinese congregation. We saw 8 people receive the Holy Ghost and 4 baptized! The presence of God, these YOMers and their testimonies, their worship… the way they go pray for people… it’s just hard to put it all in words!
We had 2 young men preach their very first sermons and God used them to minister in a special way.
Today, have two teams going out for morning services with our Chinese congregations. One in Long Ping, by New Territories, the other in Sheung Wan on the Hong Kong Island. Then we will all convene back at New Life Tabernacle for the 3 pm Philippine service.
Thanks for all the prayers and for all your support back home! And thank you for sending us these top quality young people!
I would like to thank our missionaries here. Thank you so much Bro. & Sis. O’Donnell for all your hard work. Their daughter has been in the hospital with a broken foot, we’re looking forward to having her join the group today.
We will keep trying to post pictures, as I know they say 1,000 words!
God bless you all – Have great church today back home!
Good Morning from HONG KONG!
Today: Team 2 will be doing street evangelism and prayer walks. Team 1 was on ministry duty yesterday. So, we’ll take team 1 shopping around the city.
Tonight, we will all be going to Jumbo Restaurant: The largest floating restaurant in the world. www.jumbo.com/hk

Thanks again for all the prayers!
God is doing some awesome things through our YOM Kids.
First, we began with a street service, and it was amazing to see the youth and how God used them to minister.(Thank God for no rain) –
We thank God for keeping the rain out.
Then we headed to the central church for a 2 pm service. Joined by what seemed to be about 400 ladies present. God moved in a mighty way – we did not get to the preacher.
Bro. Joel Andrus gave a compelling altar call and we all were able to see the altars filled and 5 people receive the Holy Ghost.
Keep us in your prayers!
God bless!
